這張明信片最吸引我的地方
就是下面白色字體寫的 NOVA SCOTIA
先前沒有聽過這個地方
但, 莫名的覺得名子很美 :D
城市徽章是真的很美唷
由獨角獸和印地安人組成
叫做 "Coat of arms"

The most attractive part of this postcard is NOVA SCOTIA printed in white colour. I have not heard about this name before, but I love it at the first sight. The flag of NOVA SCOTIA is also very adorable, which is combine by an unicorn and an aboriginal, names as "Coat of arms".

NOVA SCOTIA是加拿大最東邊的省，是拉丁文 "新蘇格蘭"
首都位於Halifax，也就是明信片上的綠油油城市
這裡曾經被法國統治，現在則由加拿大統治
但大部分的居民都擁有蘇格蘭的血統 (佔29.3 %, 2011 年數據)

The name of the province is Latin for "New Scotland," but "Nova Scotia" is the recognized, English-language name of the province. The provincial capital is Halifax, which is also the green city in the postcard. People with Scottish ancestry are the largest self-identified ethnic group in the province after Canadian (that population is 29.3% as of 2011).

Kaitlin is now studying to be an elementary school teacher, doing volunteering with children is her favorite. I always admire someone to has passion toward education,  it need to spend lots of time and passion (this is what my parents do for their whole life, and I am so proud of them :) ) Keep going, it must be very lucky to be one of your students.
